Alright, that may be a little dramatic. I really missed the internet and not tripping over every damn thing in my house. Being capable of sight ranks right up there with breathing and Diet Soda.

Power outage and big storm + screwed up sleeping schedule = unhappy Lou. :o(

aw, that sucks. You guys lost power over there too? My family lost power, and as for Austin and me, we were luckier. We only lost internet. Still sucked, though.

We lost power yesterday at around 8am and they just got it back on at 4am this morning. Do you have cable internet? Our cable hasn't come back on yet but, lucky for us, our old DSL contract hasn't expired yet. We forgot to cancel it and accidentally got stuck paying for another month. So we are back to DSL until the cable comes back on. lol

I think we have DSL, yes.

So where are you at these days? Are you still in school? Aus and I are making it on our own over here at the coast, as you may or may not already know :) I'm still at Humboldt, for another two years probably.

Thats so cute! You and Austin. I feel like I should be calling you a cradle robber. ^.^ Steven and I are living it up in Chico. We have a cute little apartment. I'm just taking my time at Butte and He is diving headlong into CSU. We're poor but its not tooooo bad... I still have Skylar (The tiny demon dog). Not much else. I have been painting a lot more (I had a bit of a "dry spell" for a while there). Otherwise, aside from the sky raining trees for the last two days, everything is great!

hm, are you sure you're thinking of the same Austin? My guy is about a year and a half older than me. But we've been together for over 3 years, so I'm pretty sure you've met him in that time :)

My mom has been teaching out at Chico for the past year or so, part time for the nursing department. She seems to be pretty happy with it; I hope it works for her. It's nice when I visit home because sometimes I travel down to Chico with her and hang out on campus for a while. It seems like a fun community.

Do share more of your artwork as you continue painting; I liked the spiral one that you posted - the one you just sold? I always enjoy seeing other artists' work.
